Yates Turnip Seeds (Autumn Lines) - Select Variety

Purple Top White Globe: A favourite early variety is producing large globe shaped roots with a purple crown. The flesh is of excellent flavour. Ideal for soups and stews.

Japanese Hakurei: Produces beautiful white skinned turnips with a crisp, sweet flesh. Excellent in soups, salads and other oriental cooking. The green tops can also be eaten like spinach.

Position: Full sun.

Sow: Sow direct into rows. Cover with Yates Seed Raising Mix, firm down and keep moist. Thin out seedlings if necessary.

Care: Choose a sunny, well-drained position. Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser for best results. Keep well watered and eat roots when young and tender. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
