The pea that thinks it’s a bean! Pea and pod are both sweet, juicy and flavoursome. Eat the pea whole, or let it grow longer then shell.

Full sun.

Sow

Direct alongside trellis or fence where they are to grow. Sow in damp soil and withhold further watering until seedlings appear.

Care

Choose a sunny, well-drained position. Work in lime and Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser. Protect young seedlings from snails with Yates Blitzem. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser regularly after buds appear, and water often. Harvest when pods are plump.
