Aristopet Avicycline C Oral Antibiotic For Ornamental Birds. The most advanced water-soluble antibiotic for the treatment of bacterial diseases such as Enteritis, Chlamydiosis, and Sinusitis in ornamental caged birds.

For the treatment of organisms susceptible to Chlortetracycline, this can be achieved by administering it through drinking water medication or adding it to the food. Susceptible organisms may include. E.coli (enteritis), Mycoplasma spp (Chronic Respiratory Disease), Chlamydia psittaci (Psittacosis) 

Active Constituent: 100 mg/g Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride.

Directions for Use:

RESTRAINTS: Do NOT use in birds intended for human consumption.

Dosage:

Administer either in drinking water OR by adding to food.

Parrots: 5.0g/L in water (1 level spoon per 125mL)

Finch / Pigeon: 2.5g/L in water (1 level spoon per 250mL)

All Ornamental Birds: 5.0g/kg in dry food (1 level spoon per 125g)

All Ornamental Birds: 10.0g/kg in Hand Rearing Food (2 level spoons per 125g)

Administration: Remove all sources of unmedicated water and prepare fresh solutions daily. Remove sources of grit and calcium for the duration of treatment. Supply medicated water for 5 to 7 days (Psittacosis 45 days) in glass, glazed or plastic containers. Enclosed level spoon holds approximately 0.65g.
