Manutec Vermiculite is a magnesium-rich, silicate mineral similar to mica. It is produced by a high-temperature treatment of vermiculite ore, which produces golden brown lightweight granules. It is sterile, non-toxic, incombustible, asbestos-free and easy to handle. Vermiculite aerates heavy clay soils and potting mixes. It has a high water-holding capacity and is ideal for seed raising.
