Boron is an important trace element or micronutrient for the healthy development of plant tissue. Boron deficiency results in the breakdown of internal tissue called ‘Brown Heart’, which is common in fruits & vegetables such as Apples, Beetroot, Turnips, Celery, etc. Boron Deficiencies are most common in alkaline (high pH) soils.
